Kid's Preparedness Event at Bethany Presbyterian with Birdy The Fire Dog!
5/3/2018 (Permalink)
Woof woof. Greeting human friends. Do you have treats for me, Birdy the Fire Dog? Regardless of that answer, I, Birdy, would like to promote this cool event that my human friends are having soon. It’s the Kid’s Preparedness Program that will be hosted at the Bethany Presbyterian Church on May 5th, 2018 from 11am to 1pm.
The ERP (Emergency Readiness Program) is a program that is designed to teach children and adults all about what to do in case of an emergency. Do you know what to do in case of a fire? What about a flood situation, during an earthquake, or in the event of a tornado? The list of potential emergencies goes on and we can prepare you for any of them! The event will have a plethora of activities and refreshments to keep everyone entertained while they hear my owner talk about the program.
You can take pictures with me, Birdy the Fire Dog, in my firefighter outfit! There will be tables where you can get your face painted so you can look like me or a cat if you prefer, but that’s less cool. There will be goodie bags (that might have treats in there for me, probably not but dog can dream). There will be door prizes and free ERP giveaways. So what are you waiting for? Come down and play with me!
